How do you use Imafuji?
We conduct scientific research at the summit of Mount Fuji during the summer. Climbing the mountain is essential for maintaining our observation equipment, and for this, the weather data from Imafuji plays a crucial role. Additionally, Imafuji's meteorological data is invaluable for analyzing the scientific data we collect at the summit.
Why is this important and necessary?
The weather on Mt. Fuji may not look like a big deal from the outside, but it is often bad weather when you are actually on the mountain. Therefore, Imafuji is valuable for finding out the current weather on Mt. Fuji.

Those who conduct observations on Mount Fuji are well aware of the difficulties involved in maintaining observation equipment. Despite these difficulties, Imafuji maintains multiple observation points and provides detailed weather information.

PROFILE
Completed a Doctoral Program in Physics and Applied Physics at the Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, Waseda University. Holds a Ph.D. in Science. Worked as an assistant at the School of Science and Engineering, Waseda University, and later served as an assistant, assistant professor, and associate professor in the Department of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Education at Tokyo Gakugei University. Subsequently, appointed as a specially appointed associate professor at the Global Center for Regional Development, Shizuoka University. Since April 2023, holds the position of specially appointed professor at the same university.
