How would you describe Imafuji in one phrase?
Information sources necessary for climbing Mt. Fuji.
Why is this important and necessary?
Weather in the mountains changes rapidly, and conditions can change dramatically depending on not only rain but also wind and temperature, so it is important to understand the conditions when climbing Mt. Fuji.
What would you like to say to the climbers?
Please check the weather information not only before climbing, but also during the climb, and if the weather conditions worsen, please choose to descend rather than pushing yourself to the summit.
What do you like about Mt. Fuji
I love this unique view, where even if I look at it every day, I never get bored and even a single cloud looks completely different.
What’s the best thing about Imafuji?
Weather information for the entire Mt. Fuji area can be found on this site, and detailed information such as temperature and wind speed are also provided.

PROFILE
During the two-month summer climbing season, I work at the Okumiya Shrine of Asama Taisha, located at the summit of Mount Fuji (This is my 8th year.). Previously, I worked at the summit mountain huts (for 5 years) and also at the Trail Station at the New 5th Station on the Gotemba Route (for 2 years).
